Ajax firmly in Microsoft’s sights

From Microsoft Watch: Microsoft has decided the Ajax programming phenomenon is something it can’t ignore. To wit, the Redmondians have jumped on the Ajax bandwagon by devising a Web-client programming framework, code-named “Atlas” that Microsoft execs are saying will make Ajax programming even easier. It’s not clear how Microsoft will deliver the final version of the framework, but developers attending this September’s Professional Developers Conference will get the first Atlas beta bits.
